The Internship Program of Digital Marketing -Day 2
Hi folks! I am Sampriti Roy, a student of the digital marketing internship program by Digital Deepak. I received a very overwhelming response on my experience of Day 1. The session was based on selecting your niche. You should focus on a single topic and work on it with full dedication.
As an extrovert, I feel it quite difficult to gather my whole attention towards a single topic. If you are an extrovert, you will relate to this. But still, I selected a temporary niche to go ahead with my learning process. It is my all-time favourite since I graduated -Start-ups.
Start-ups is a vast field in itself. From selecting a perfect domain for your startup till finding valuable client, there are lots of milestones on this journey. But how to know which kind of audience I should target? Who is in need of this service? This was our main agenda of the second session. This session was designed to teach us how to create our Customer Avatar.
My target customer is someone who is looking for start-up guidance. He is looking for new ideas or else next step to implement his own idea. He wants to know how he should invest his money. He is looking for customer services and technical support. I will design a customised workflow for him so that he is able to set up his business hassle-free. I will help the startup to expand its network and introduce new services to attract more customers. So my customer avatar is based on someone interested in business and starting their own firm. Most of the audience was from the age group of 22–35 years. Students who just graduated were higher in number as they were looking for guidance to move ahead. Working professionals are also potential customers as they also plan to start something new after gaining industrial exposure. This kind of audience is looking for multiple aspects like new ideas, investors, ideal location, ideal customers, technical help, business setup (physical office).
