Today… I’m proud of myself !
Finally the day is here!
Well, I still have 17 hours left (Current time: 16th Oct.2020, 11:50 PM)...but this is something that I wanted to keep kinda documented about how I’m feeling right now!!!!
It’s been a really long time I wrote anything in my journal. But this moment is SPECIAL!
This is one of those very rare moments when a person feels proud of their network, skills and about themselves.
To explain this, let me take you a little few days back, like 3 weeks to be specific!
It was mom’s birthday!
And this cute little lady had started getting back to her hobbies -after ages!
The reason for this also has a long and nice story on which I plan to record a video and post it on my Youtube channel (I’ll update the link here)
So she was preparing this amazing items that made me wonder why I wasted all those money buying accessories all this ages!
It was so random idea, to convince her to start her online idea -like I just suggested her once or twice to sell them and she just smiled and ignored me 😅
But then she was super active on Instagram!
Being a passionate digital marketer myself, I kept teaching my mom some basic tricks like hashtags and tagging and she became a pro in them. She somehow stumbled upon a lot of Indian handmade artists who were having an online presence over Instagram!
We did a hell lot of research to find how many types of Creators and Products are available and people are making.
It was so instant idea that we genuinely wanted to experience every bit of growth of the business, failure and disappointment included.
Instead of waiting for any perfect product launch or extreme research -which is time consuming of course, we started with what we had.
With a bit of investment for designing and creating products, and other little bit of investment and 4–5 days of hustle Tomorrow (17th October, 2020) we are going to launch our first ever online handmade gift store!!
There’s so much to learn and improve and execute! But it’s going to be worth it. Because this time, my best friend, my partner in crime, my mom❤️ is literally going to be there with me and I know together we are going to rock it 😉.
I might blog my experiences regarding our store not sure if regularly, but it is going to be totally worth it.
